Arrests made during compliance checks

Multiple law agencies worked together to complete 18 compliance checks, two parole compliance checks, a felony arrest, misdemeanor arrest, two felony warrants and three violations of probation arrests on Feb. 16.

Annual Trashion Show returns to sold out crowd

Mayor-elect Jesus OlveraGarcia was sworn in on Feb. 13 during a special city council meeting. The ceremonial swearing in took place the following night during the regular scheduled City Council meeting.

Vehicle hits three pedestrians

A vehicle struck three pedestrians on Elm Avenue at the Salinas River on Feb. 11 at 2 p.m.
Two victims were located, one had moderate injuries and the other patient had moderate to major injuries. Both were transported to the Natividad Medical Center.
